OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — A person with knowledge of the deal says the Golden State Warriors are sending forward David Lee to the Boston Celtics for Gerald Wallace.
Lee is due to make $15.4 million next season and became expendable following the emergence of Draymond Green.
The St. Louis native (Chaminade HS) played the fewest minutes of his career and averaged just 7.9 points per game, the lowest since his rookie year with the Knicks in 2005-06.
